Mafia Wars – More Tips – Top Jobs
Okay, as it was mentioned in the comments for my first article regarding Mafia Wars that there are jobs that reward you more. So what I have done is gone through and crunched some numbers for you. I would like to point out first and foremost, before the comment flood begins, that my numbers are slightly different. I have chosen different Top Mafia people which give me a small boost in experience earned OR for energy cost of the jobs. But with that said, even if my Top Mafia was empty, I do not feel that the numbers would change so drastically that it makes a difference. So, with that said here is what I have found.

I don’t see why any of this matters, provided that your goal is maximum character improvement points (as mine is). If that’s the case, you have to complete all jobs in each rank until you reach level 3 mastery of each job. Then, if you want to collect the bonus inventory points (don’t remember what those things are called at this moment), you may have to do jobs in a level again; I’m finishing off energy before taking energy bonuses so I can get special items that were added after I finished job levels.
The only reason this matters is for when you’re going for experience rather than job completion/item snatching. I know a lot of people who have put all their profile points into stamina and health. So they dont care about doing jobs or whatnot. But if they wanted to make the best use of whatever energy they had to use, these top jobs would be a great guide to follow.
On the same token (not that kind of token Les!) if somebody wanted to get the most energy possible, they could use the best job possible to level up to the highest level they could and dump all their profile points into energy. After they had somewhere around 500 energy, going through and doing every job to gain everything would be really quickly done. Especially with a mafia that loves sending energy packs.
If you consider energy taken from job preparation, the rank will be different.
Use running illigal poker game as an example:
energy taken is 18 and payout is exp +38
Ratio 38/18=2.11
preparation for token and cheating deck takes 18 energy and pays exp +28.
Ratio consider job preparation (38+28)/(18+18)=1.83
but to do run a ilegal poker game you have to do the preparation jobs, also i cant remember the name but i do a job that yields 80 exp with only 34 energy required thats a 2.35 ratio right?
Actually at the Consigliere level “Dispose of a Body” is the best ratio at 1.77, not “Help a fugitive flee the country.” But yeah, a poker game even with job prep still has the best overall ratio.
Come on guys, it’s clear!!
Under BOSS, the best job is “Settle a beef…Personally”, yielding 71 exp for 35 energy, by far the best single job in the game.
Now I have 11% off energy, and 11% increased exp, but the ratio is still the same for every job, so it’s still the best. Under that tier? Eh…that’s child’s play.
a Bank heist now gives me 17 exp, for 8 energy, which is a ratio of 2.13, which appears to be the highest in the game.
35 energy doubled is 70, plus 1 extra exp gained so with that in mind this one is clearly the best Experience: +38 with 17 Energy used, double the energy 34 so 4 extra exp each one and since you can do two jobs per one of your idiot ones, you would gain 6 exp extra for the same amount of energy using E-RUN AN ILLEGAL POKER GAME over settle the beef
why i have by doing the job (Settle a Beef… Permanently ) 40 Energy and it gives me 71 exp and many of you need only 35 energy for same exp result
hmm
I want to start my own blog too, what blog platform do you use, where i can download it ?
It’s called wordpress (www.wordpress.org) and can be used from their website (sign up) or you can download/install it on your own domain. Most hosting providers can/will help you do that if you’re not 100% sure. My hosting provider, dreamhost has excellent plans and built-in support for WordPress. It’s super simple actually.
I came across your blog, i think your blog is awsome, keep us posting.
