Triviality, as described by it’s base of “Trivia” means as follows:

“Trivia are unimportant (or “trivial”) items, especially of information. In the late twentieth century the expression came to apply more to information of the kind useful almost exclusively for answering quiz questions: a perfect “trivia question” is one that initially stumps the listener, but the answer subsequently sounds familiar once revealed (otherwise the question would be considered either too familiar and therefore not trivia, or so unfamiliar and obscure as to be unanswerable and not as entertaining). ”

This website has taken me awhile to come up with a theme, or a niche as the web-world would say. The whole reason it took so long (and is still developing yet) is because my interest in just one topic is boring. I love many things. Video games, Movies, Computers, Techno-gadgets, websites, all sorts of fun things. The problem is, I can not devote my time and energy into just one topic! So here is what I plan to do. I am going to write about things that go on in my life as I come across them.

What do you mean by that? You might ask. Here is what I mean, in the typical way I explain things:

Often times I will encounter an interesting bit while watching a movie, that I dont know much about but grabs my interest. My passion is in the research of these things! An example would be, in the movie “The Good Shepard” a secret society known as the “Skull and Bones” is a key part of that movie. I know enough about that society to keep away from it and have nothing to do with it. But my wife was asking questions that I didn’t have the answer to. So, even though knowing about the S&B society will never land me a $500k/yr job, it is knowledge of it that I really enjoy. Another example would be, while playing a game called Second Life I discovered how relatively easy it was to create things in that game. So, again knowing how to do that will not land me a job worth lots of money, nor will it make me world famous, but the fact that I know how to do that stuff makes me happy.

So this is where my blog comes in. When I find bits of stuff that I have a desire to learn about, I will post what I find out or provide my thoughts on the many various topics I come across. The wonderful side effect of this is that I love to teach people things I know. I am willing to say that 90% of everyone I meet could care less about some of the topics I know about (for example: how to clean the air intake manifold on an 98 Sunfire.) But what makes me feel great is when they need to know how to do something that is related to this so called Triva, and I can teach them and they usually have an interest in it! I love exposing people to knowledge that they would otherwise NEVER go and look for by themselves.

So that my friends is what this blog is about. If I can teach you what I’ve learned, then I will have a much greater chance of remembering what I just learned. So this is my podium to the world. I hope you enjoy what you are about to read!
