Game Release - Downhill Snowboard 2
Again, thank everybody who has provided feedback. I love it!!

So, as requested, I am going to add a couple sports games and an archery game. This one is a lot of fun. It’s sort of a progressive game, where you can do more the more you play. There are unlockables and is a lot of fun! I almost forgot that I was going to post this because I couldn’t stop playing!

Without further delay, I present to you, Downhill Snowboard 2!

One thing that I do sort of enjoy playing is the “MyFarm” app. Mostly because I enjoy economic games that require you to figure out how to make the most money, which you can use to buy and upgrade your stuff. Which got me to thinking, which crops are the best to buy to yield the most profit?

So, this is where the nerd in me shines through. I made a chart, which clearly shows the value of the crops (at time of writing.)

In this example, we are assuming you have 20 fields, and that you log in and tend to those fields for a minimum of 6 actual days.

Here is the table I’ve come up with after those 6 days is done.

UPDATE: I found that while our math is correct, myFarm rounds things down. I also think that myFarm takes some taxes for the King. I think this because my tomatoes are supposed to earn $202.95, however when I harvested them it told me I had made “$201″, which I think is a rip-off!! I want my $1.95 back.

Anyways, I am going to do some actual cost analysis and figure out how much I can really expect to make.

Here is what I’ve come up with so far:

Tomatoes: Cost to plant = $133 / Harvest Profit = $201 / Cost to clear = $20 / Profit  = ($201-133-20 = $48) / 20 Fields =  ($48 * 20 = $960)

I just got here to relieve the watch, nothing is happening,
at least not much. The man at the desk passed me the word,
so listen my friends, here’s what I heard:

“The broadcast is good, all circuits are up, the
coffee is fresh, pour yourself a cup. All traffic is out,
there’s nothing to send, we’ve got the beach fivers;
got a cigarette to lend?

Your freqs are all solid, no gear has gone sour, we
haven’t changed anything for over an hour.

The Bridge has been quiet, and COMBAT is asleep, the phones
have been silent, nary a peep.

The log’s up to date, the filing is done, so I’ll
see you later, and hope you have fun”

And with those fine words he did depart, leaving the watch
with a very good start.

A few minutes have passed, or so it seems, When in walk
s the OPS boss with my first two routines.

“They have to go quick, I drafted them late, so treat
them as Oboe’s, they just can’t wait.

Yes sir, I replied, we’ll get right on them, I
don’t believe we’ll have any problem.

I logged them in and said to the tape man, do a good job;
go as fast as you can.

He said that he would and as I flicked an ash, the
broadcast operator yelled “here comes a FLASH!”

Route it to COMBAT, the Bridge and to OPS, and hurry back,
make no other stops.

He grabbed it and ran, wasting no time, and then the phone
rang, it was the XO on the line. “Got another down
here, can you come get it?” Yes sir I replied, be there
in a minute.

To the wardroom I went for an Oboe no doubt, and when I
returned the broadcast was out.

Proofed all the outgoings, and got them released, XO had
another, it was really a beast.

Twenty addee’s; can’t find half the routers, then
in walks the SUPPO with four more outers.

“When they’ll go out I can’t really tell,
cause right now sir, we’re busy as hell.

Send those four out and please make it quick, I said to the
Ship/Shore Op, who was getting sea sick.

But he replied that there’d be a delay, for the beach
had just gone down for New Day.

I wondered what else could possibly go wrong, but lucky for
me we didn’t wait long.

For the next event in this strange episode, came when those
glorious “Snipes” dropped the load.

We lost a 32, a seven and a nine, oh, why does thi
s happen to me all the time?

I called the ET’s and let out a yelp, “My
gear’s burning up; I’m going to need help!”

The Bridge called in, said their circuits were down,
“We’re doing our best” I replied with a frown.

Then COMBAT called to tell me the same, MY GOD! I think
I’m going insane.

We brought all circuits up, with maximum power, OH! Just
remembered.

Have not checked my in basket in over an hour.

Phones ringing again, the XO no doubt, he wants to know if
the traffic’s gone out.

OPS boss called, he’s got two more, and some fool is
banging on the door.

Broadcast is back, but getting tough, we just hit a storm,
the seas are getting rough.

Chief came in, wants to see the Pub Check-off List, I told
him that during the outage twenty numbers were missed.

Things are falling all over the floor, and that fool is
still banging on the door.

I pleaded and begged, “Please cut me some slack,”
oh boy! I wish I was still in my rack.

My outgoing backlog now tallies eleven, but the tape cutter
has only done seven.

My incomings now number thirty-two, boy! This place is just
like a zoo.

Got six more Oboes to run around, and the seas are really
beginning to pound.

The storm outside must really be mean, Cause my Ship/Shore
operator is turning green.

Then all of a sudden the storm had passed, And we got the
beach on Ship/Shore at last.

The broadcast is now holding in tight, everything’s
beginning to look all right.

Cleaned all the traffic and cleaned up the floor,
even got around to answering the door.

Service came in with all the numbers we missed, and I
finally signed off the Pub Check List.

Slotted all traffic and routed the boards too, and hey!
Believe it or not we’re QRU.

My relief just came in to relieve the watch, now nothing is
happening, at least not much.

I photoshopped the color of the soft top, just to see what it would look like.

• Get a new rear yoke!
• Fix my spark plug wires (aka get new ones)
• Get a new distro cap
• Strap down my battery

• Get a new speedo gear so I can tell how fast I’m really going!

You know you drive a YJ when…

1. a blanket is manditory winter driving equipment
2. you cary A bag of tools that has more tools then in your garage.
3. Every bump is a steering opportunity.
4. Your inline six sounds like a diesel….
5. You can inspect your wiper blades everytime you drive!
6. Deep scratches, bangs and dents don’t bother you any more. You actually look forward to them.
7. you have a hose just incase you need to rinse out
8. You realize you could have invested in buying a small third world country with the money you dumped in your rig…
9. theres a dent in your roof shaped like your head!
10. you have told your wife at least six times that you wouldn’t dump anymore money into it

22. It takes 10 minutes to put the soft top back on…
23. You find a ‘lost’ tool every time you open the hood.
24. when you spend more time underneath it than driving it
25. your still driving it everyday even after 200K + miles
26. when you open the hood and friends comment “is this wire supposed to be hanging there like that not attached to anything?” and you can honestly and without fear answer “yea that little guy … you don’t need that little guy … it came like that”
27. when your gas gauge dances non stop
28. when you try to justify 11mpg
29. when you think coil springs just dont look like a jeep
30. when you carry a strap to pull out tj’s not yourself
31. You turn down dates because she is worried about getting her hair messed-up in your Jeep
32. you don’t mind cutting up your faorite car.
33. You know you drive a YJ when it is no longer getting older, but slowly becoming brand new part by part.
34. The young mommy who parks next to you in a new Unlimited at the mall tells you she loves your “vintage” Jeep.
35. You know you own a YJ when your leaf springs doubled as snow sleds/ski’s as you just climbed a snow pile.
36. You know you own a YJ when you only shovel up to your Jeep’s driver’s side door but not the whole drive-way.
37. You know you own a YJ when your only complaint about driving in the snow is the other drivers.
38. You need windshield wipers on the inside.
39. all your pants are missing the belt loop on the righht hand side from getting ripped off on the door striker when jumping in
40. You walk past the air freshener/auto detail aisle to purchase yet another basket of JB Weld, duct tape, and bailing wire.
41. It’s a common occurrance to find your 5 yr old son in the garage, on his back under the jeep banging away with a hammer “like daddy”.
42. when everyone tells you how easy it would be break in to then proceed to show you how the thief would get in
43. when most peoples ac goes on , the door come off
44. first dates fall back out on thier attempt to get in the heep
45. second dates learn how to un-zip the window just right to flick cig ashes
46. third dates are used to you staring at their chest as you go down secondary roads
47. fourth dates rarely happen
48. all your friends the first time out un-zip the window and let it flap in the breeze instead of tucked down in side, then the fight the wind to get the window closed
49. When your 2 year old son sees you working on the jeep, turns to Mom and says “Daddy broke the Jeep again”
50. When you carry a spare set of clothes just for driving in the summer…..on your vinyl seats…..with no A/C.
51. you can run over a dime on the road, and tell whether its heads or tails.
52. when you get back from a quick trip to the grocery store and your wife says “you smell like you’ve been working outside”.
53. You’ve bought and sold several very nice cars, but still have the jeep
54. When you have to pick up your wife someplace and she asks you to please use her Honda
55. There is no such thing as a “cheap” or “fast” fix for any problem
56. when your seat covers have become your new seats and you cant seem to remeber the colour of the originals and you frankly don’t care
57. it starts raining, and you pull out a squeege and hand it to the girl in the passenger seat telling her job is wipe the windshield…. from the inside
58. after taking it out for a spin, you tell the gril in the passenger seat, “don’t tell your boyfriend I got you all wet.”
59. you realize that your Jeep is the next generation to begin appreciating in value.
60. When your wife tells you it better be the only girlfriend you have

62. when your floor mat can be seen from underneath the jeep as well as it can from the inside
63. You walk through your garage and find a rusty bolt lying where your Jeep is usually parked and you just pick it up and set it aside thinking you may find a spot for it next time you’re under your rig.
64. Your only cup holder is the crotch of your pants and you have the coffee burns to prove it.
65. You are the only one at the car wash hosing out the inside of your vehicle.
66. You hold up traffic at a toll booth because you can’t get your window unzipped.
67. When the joke “No, I have NATURAL air conditioning!” is no longer a joke because you’ve come to believe it
68. When you give Hummer drivers the finger when they try to waive at you
69. when you’re a single man with a Jeep when just a few days ago you heard the words, “It’s either me or the damn Jeep!”
70. When the seat belt that is rotted out is the least of your worries.
71. when your friends are working on making there cars or trucks mint inside and out and your ripping the interior out to hurc it and the paint on the jeep is scratched and faded from wheeling it through the woods.
72. you can take out your backseat because not even a 3 year old will fit back there
73. When you are the only one who will drive your car because its too bumpy
74. When you are the only one who will drive your car because the steering is loose
75. When you are the only one who will drive your car because cant see out the windshield
76. When you are the only one who will drive your car because shifting is hard
77. You find yourself saying “Do you hear something”?
78. you “accidentally” park on top of the civic that just flew past you yelling silly things
79. You notice the ‘new’ knock, tick, or rattle right away and your passenger looks at you like you’re crazy.
80. When your wife/gf, kids, friends ask you what you want for Christmas, you just say, “Just contribute to the Jeep fund.”
81. The mail/ups/fedex driver is on a first name basis with you!
82. When you are looking for more comfortable seats and they aren’t from another jeep but another make/model!

When you walk into AutoZone and the guys at the counter are happy to see you because there is some guy on the phone “looking for a few cans of Updog” …. and they know you’ll probably have heard of it and dumped a few cans into the crankcase. But little do they realize that the guy on the phone just wants them to ask him “What’s Updog?” … so he can say “Not a lot, man. What’s up with you?”
84. When you decide to take out an extra grand with your student loans because how the heck else could you finance those modifications and repairs on your budget with your credit?
85. your local offroad shop calls you to see if you will add a few things for them on your next Quadratec order.
86. while on the way to your deer stand, you hear tree limbs scraping the side of your Jeep, and you just grin. You grin because you’re thinking of how far you would have had to walk if you had driven the Grand Cherokee instead… because you would have parked it waaay back there
87. When the cops pull you over for:
    -not having side view mirrors when your doors are off
    -your bumper height exceeds state laws
88. You see a flatbed trailer in front of you and you wonder if you climb the back of it.
89. You see other cars and think how fake they are.
90. You Look at vehicles in the parking lot and wonder how well their parts would fit your YJ
91. You get funny looks from others when you struggle to get out of your heep (broken driver door).
92. You have to scrape the insides and outsides of your windshield on a cold morning.
93. You dont remember what your side mirrors look like.
94. when your parking spot has more oil in it than your oil pan
95. passenger asks ‘theres smoke coming from underneath and under the hood, is that bad?’ and you reply with ‘no thats normal!
96. it stalls every time you come to a stop
97. you get asked by dumb tj owners ‘why are your headlights square?’
98. when your friend can reach over and take the key out while your driving down the road, not shutting it off, and you have to say ‘hey dont loose that incase i want to lock my doors!
99. when your guages are a broad estimate
100. You have to shovel the mud off the driveway almost every Sunday evening
101. U see a Wrangler from the rear or side and U notice it has REAL Jeep hood latches
102. Every where U park it leaves an oil slick!!!
103. TJ mall crawlers won’t re-turn the Jeep wave!
104. You’re the guy at every drive-through who has to open the door to get your food because the window zipper is jammed and you’re pretty sure that if you unzip it, it will never zip up again…
105. You really hate those TJ/JK Rubicon owners because they drove off the dealership lot with half of the equipment that you have spent years installing and affording
106. You don’t have to worry about being accused of talking on the cell phone while going down the highway, because everyone you try to call says it sounds like you are riding out a hurricane in a cheap Walmart tent.
107. Your neighbors look at you in horror and amazement when they see you in the driveway hammering the living crap out of something under your Jeep.
108. your passanger askes you if its bad they see the road going under feet, and you assure them they’d get stuck at their armpits before they hit the road
109. You combat a rust monster every time you go under the Jeep.
110. you wake up in the middle of the night because you hear rain, knowing that your top/doors are off… and go back to sleep
111. 5 seconds after leaving for work you let out a massive “DOH!” when you realize you forgot to pull the drain plugs the night before when it started raining
112. when in the odd instance you pass someone on the road in a YJ, they take it pesonally and pass you right back
113. every time you turn the key, you say a lil prayer to start up
114. rev your engine when next to a rice burner at a stop light
115. Your kids try and look cool by jumping out the back when you drop them off at school, only to have them hit their head on the cage, trip on the lip, and fall on their face in front of their friends.
116. You have discovered you don’t need a top, just a variety of hats
117. You never have to drive on group outings because it’s too windy/noisy/bumpy/exhausty
118. Your true gas mileage is a closely guarded secret– especially from your wife and/or girlfriend

163. every monday when you come into work everyone asks “hey what you and the Jeep do this weekend?”
164. when you decide that you dont like the color of your jeep, and break out cans of spray paint and change it
165. when your g/f refuses to ride in it because it makes her boobs hurt
166. you have to write a manual listing of all the quirks and do’s and don’ts if someone else drives your jeep
167. Others are scared to drive your jeep because of said quirks
168. you decide instead to spend a few grand this summer truly building up your YJ to the way you’ve always wanted
169. You keep the heater on high so you can’t here all the other noises
170. Your granddaughter opens the hood of her Barbi Jeep every so often and sticks her plastic tools in it, closes it and drives off.

186. When a passing TJ driver believes you just flipped him the Jeep wave but you know in reality, you just raised your hand to block an icy cold draft and your arm froze there
